An elegant 5 star hotel located on Hadebet Om El Sied, just 2 km from city of Sharm. The hotels location enjoys one of the best spots for diving and snorkelling on the beautiful beach in Sharm El Sheikh. There is a natural sandy 380m long beach, overlooking the wonderful famous Temple Reef, the second best protected area after Ras Mohamed.

Accommodation

The hotel consists of one and two floor buildings with 718 rooms (after inaugurating the new 48 superior rooms/April 2006) and includes rooms suitable for handicapped guests as well as connected rooms. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, Satellite TV showing English, Italian, French, German, Dutch, Russian, Polish channels, 4 music channels, mini-bar, safe box, bathroom with shower, hair dryer, balcony or terrace overlooking gardens, pool or sea. Please note: the junior suites have corner sea views. Around the complex there are steps and sloping pavements; handicapped guests can be transported to all amenities by requesting the hotel bus cart.

All Inclusive Food

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-15:00) and dinner (19:00-22:00), all buffet style with various Egyptian and International specialties, served in the main restaurant or the grill restaurant ?La Citadel? overlooking the sea. Late breakfast can be taken at three hotel bars, where sandwiches & cakes are offered. Also at the disposal of the AI guest is one of the other two hotel restaurants; the Gioconda (dinner from 19:00-21:00, different kind of pastas & pizza, salad buffet, fruit & dessert buffet) or the beach restaurant (11:00-sunset, hot sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, shawarma, French fries, salad & fruit display fridge).

All Inclusive Drinks

Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like hot drinks (tea, coffee, coco, cinnamon, herbs), soft drinks like cola, fanta, soda, ice tea, cold mint, mineral water, orange juice, karkade (Egyptian traditional drink), hard drinks (whisky, gin, zibiba, vodka, rum), beer, wine as well as shisha (water pipe) are served at the Piazza bar (main bar of the resort, 24 hours drinks except beer - 20:00-06:00), the Colombo pool bar (09:00-24:00), the Rama pool bar (09:00-24:00), the beach bar (08:30 till sunset), the disco bar (24:00-02:00) and the Oasis Oriental Café (17:00-24:00) - according to each outlets menu.

All Inclusive Snacks

Snacks such as croissant & Danish are available till noon at Piazza bar and Colombo pool bar or from 09:00-10:00 at Rama pool bar. Guests can have different kind of sandwiches at Piazza and Colombo from noon till 14:00. Hot sandwiches like hot dogs, burgers, shawarma and French fries are on offer between 10:00 & 15:00 at Rama as well as salads & fruit display fridge. Pizza slices can be found from 14:00-17:30 at Colombo, Piazza and disco bar (24:00-02:00 plus vegetable slices - cucumber, carrots, etc). English cake is served from 17:30 till midnight at Piazza & Colombo or from 17:30-19:00 at Rama.

All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment

Sport facilities at the hotel include three tennis courts, lessons & tournaments, volleyball, beach volleyball, archery & archery tournaments, football, aerobics, table tennis, darts, stretching, dancing lessons (Salsa, Merange), theatre, huge amphitheatre, international animation shows next to the Piazza bar (twice a week), Oriental day & Oriental show, live music, pool games and library. Children can spend their time in the well equipped and highly staffed mini club (3-12 yrs) with playground and various activities organised daily (kids movies, parties, games, drawing, music & sports). Morning shuttle bus to Nema Bay is also available.

Chargeable Extras

Telephone, fax, mini bar items, imported alcoholic beverages, billiards, spa, hairdresser, laundry, internet, shuttle bus (evening trips), limousine service, bicycles, scooters, shopping arcade containing photo shop, book shop, souvenirs, papyrus, herbs, perfumes, newspapers and diving centre (offering diving courses, sea trips, excursions, diving and snorkelling equipment rental) are available at a charge. There is also a new Moonlight A la Carte restaurant, which caters guests that want to taste the delights of the local fish.

Swimming Pools

In total there are eight pools available throughout the complex, one heated pool integrated with childrens pool, one heated pool for diving lessons, one large pool for recreational activities overlooking the sea, integrated with children pool, two relaxing pools, two private pools for suites buildings and the Rama pool. In addition there are eight new swimming pools serving the newly opened 48 superior rooms. There are also three open air jacuzzis overlooking the sea offering fantastic panoramic views to relax in.

Useful Information on Distances

The Resort is 14 km away for Sharm El Skeikh International airport, therefore is takes approximately 20 mins to get there.

Entry Requirements
On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor?s visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.

Please Note

Please note that some construction works are taking place at the Reef Oasis, Monday to Sunday, 07:00-17:00. A new hotel extension is being built outside the perimeters of the hotel. This involves drilling, digging and scaffolding, but everything is screened. Some bedrooms, public rooms, the pool area and the gardens are affected. There will be some noise, eyesore & dust disturbance. In times the allocation permits, guests will be placed in rooms away from these areas. Completion date is estimated for August 08 approx.
