Parque Tropical is a small hotel complex of 80 apartments in the heart of Puerto Del Carmen. It is used mainly by couples and families, who want to be in the centre of things but at the same time, would like to relax in the calm atmosphere of this friendly and clean hotel complex. The complex was totally refurbished in May 2007

Accommodation

All of the apartments have either a garden, pool or sea view from terrace or balcony. Each apartment has one double bedroom with two single beds, bathroom and kitchen/diner. The kitchen is fully furnished and equipped with a two ring electric hob, fridge, microwave, and toaster, a filter coffee machine and an electronic juicer. Every apartment also has cable television and a telephone, a clock/radio in the bedroom and a safe. There are multi-speed ceiling fans in the lounge and bedroom.

Food & Beverage

Parque Tropical has a restaurant offering an a la carte international cuisine and a range of snacks and pizzas. The Pool Bar has a full range of hot and cold drinks and a wide variety of food, there is also a Barbecue, Paella and Music evenings at the Pool Bar.

Sports & Leisure

There are two Eco Friendly swimming pools are on a split level, one of which is for children, all of which are surrounded by attractive well tended gardens. The pools are heated (23ºC) all year round using solar panels. There is also a pool table and darts and for the more energetic table tennis.

Facilities & Services

Parque Tropical?s reception is open and staffed 24 hours a day. Here, guests can change money, book tours and days out, hire a car or get a taxi. There is a large range of brochures for all the local attractions; use of the internet is also available. Should the need arise help with any medical problems can also be arranged. The complex does its best to be Eco friendly, as hot water for the whole hotel complex is supplied by solar panels. For late departures a shower room with toilet and towels is available.
