Torremolinos is in the Costa del Sol region of Andalucia, on the south eastern coastline of Spain. We can guarantee as a holiday resort, you will have everything that you need to make your holiday complete. The town centre is kept very clean and is well maintained, the colourful flowers that trail from shops and buildings give it a pleasant fragrance. The street of Calle San Miguel is pretty and has retained its original charm. Street markets and traditional produce are found in the old town and the hustle and bustle on a Thursday provides a great chance to people-watch over a coffee in the main square.
The Luca Costa Lago is a delightful hotel with excellent facilities for families to enjoy which include a variety of sporting activities like volleyball and petanque as well as an entertainment programme.
The hotel was refurbished in 2007 and has 296 comfortable, modern and spacious rooms with facilities as you would expect from a 4 * establishment. The beach is 150 m where guests can enjoy all water sports, or simply just laze under the Mediterranean sunshine. Along the main street there are fairground attractions beachside cafes and bars where you can watch the sun setting in perfect ambiance.

Explore a city centre
The streets in the centre of Torremolinos are a maze of quaint, cobbled and narrow streets but to reach the centre you need to walk upwards, as it is situated on a hillside. You can also take a lift which puts you off right in the centre where all the shops, restaurants and cafes are.
If you plan on getting wet, why not go to the Aquapark where you can find some thrills, slipping down the slides and flumes. The children will adore this, as will you if you feel like some adventure. There is plenty to do for all ages and all the facilities are good. This attraction is right on your doorstep so you don't have far to go.
Take a nature walk through the Mountains
Nature lovers will adorn the beauty of the Sierra de Almijara and Sierra Tejeda mountain ranges, where you can take a nature trail and see the beauty of the flora and fauna. There are many established routes you can take, or join in with an organised excursion.
The Balcon de Europa
Take some time to visit the natural phenomenon of the Balcon de Europa, which is a cliff that juts out over the sea and from which, if you have your camera, you can take a fantastic picture of the scenery looking over the Mediterranean Sea and the azure water below you along with the mountains.
Go sightseeing at Malaga
As this capital of the Costa del Sol is only a distance of 6 kms, you can grab the opportunity for some sightseeing and retail therapy and manage to return to your resort in time for dinner! Malaga has a magnificent Baroque cathedral and the infamous Parador Hotel which is high up on a hill above the city. This played an important part in the history of Malaga as it was once a Moorish castle. Views out over the city of Malaga and the sea are stunning. Malaga has its fair share of churches which you might like to visit, and the main shopping area starts at the Marina, in Calle Marques de Larios. Here you can have plenty of retail therapy as there is an abundance of designer shops, boutiques and trendy top class cafes and wine bars.
See the wild Crocodile's
At Crocodile Park - home of Big Daddy the largest crocodile in Europe who weighs 600 kilograms. There is also a small zoo, a playground, museum and fortress at the park so plenty to keep the children entertained.
Go to a theme park
Tivoli World is a park that is well suited to the younger members of the family. There are plenty of rides to suit all ages, flamenco shows, concerts and small animals to touch and feel. The park is in Arroyo de Miel, 3 km north-west of Torremolinos.
Visit a sea life centre
For a fantastic insight into the world of aquatic animals, the Sea Life centre is very educational and informative. There is a small touch poolso young children can pick up the starfishes and crabs. There are some magnificent species to see, so it is well worth a visit. The centre is at Benalmadena, just a few kms from Torremolinos.
