The IFA Continental Hotel is situated just ten minutes from the centre and 300 metres from a small bay. It is known as the meeting place ? where young and the young at heart ? meet to make friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Centrally allocated, near the nightlife area ?Playa del Inglés? and just a few meters away from its boulevard along the beach.
Accommodation
All the 410 rooms are decorated in a bright and friendly style with plenty of space, disrtributed on seven floors, smoking rooms on two floors. All have telephone, room safe (at a charge), Satellite TV, music channels, baby cots available, furnished balcony and bathroom. There are superb sea views from many of the rooms. The hotel offers daily cleaning and towel change on request. Linen change twice a week.
Food & Beverage
In the IFA Continental Hotel guests have a choice ? for example between Spanish or international cuisine. Breakfast is served between 07:30 and 10:30 and dinner from 18:00 to 21:00 ? both are buffet style. The evening gourmet buffet includes salads, cold and hot dishes as well as a large dessert buffet, while special dishes and high chairs are available for children. On several days each week themed buffets are presented ? Asian, Spanish, Italian, Mexican or Canary. Using the basis of Canary cooking you are introduced to the cuisine of many cultures. In addition there is a Gala Dinner each Friday. Also the Pool Restaurant and Bar spoil you with snacks between 13:00 and 15:00. At the bar you can enjoy cocktails from 17:00 until midnight. Just recently the IFA Hotel Continental gained the first prize in a competition organised amongst 3-star hotels by the ?Mojo Picón? ? an organisation of chefs, bakers and patisseries ? for the outstanding quality of their gastronomy. Please note the restaurant and lobbybar are non-smoking.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:30), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (18:00-21:00, two sittings), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Lunch can be taken at the pool restaurant as well. During lunch & dinner mineral water, soft drinks, draught beer and house wine are offered. Snacks are available from 11:00-12:00 & 16:00-17:00 at the pool snack bar and between 22:00 & 23:00 at the lobby bar. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks as well as tea and coffee are served from 11:00-23:00 at the pool bar (11:00-18:00), the pool restaurant (13:00-16:00), the main restaurant (07:00-10:30, 13:00-16:00 & 18:00-21:00) and the lobby bar (15:00-24:00).
Sports & Leisure
The pool area with its many attractions has an excellent reputation. There are two pools (both can be heated), four whirlpools and a children?s pool with a slide offer plenty of fun. Guests can also find a large solarium with sun beds and parasols free of charge. If you are truly ?sport hungry? play football, handball, basketball and volleyball on the multi-purpose area as well as gymnastics, shuffleboard or boccia. In addition, table tennis, billiard, air rifle shooting and darts are at guests disposal. Apart from a wide range of sport the hotel also offers massage, cosmetic treatment and sauna upon extra payment. Also, tennis court, horseback riding, pedal boats and scuba diving are available in the surroundings at an additional charge, while sailing, waterskiing, surfing and an 18-hole golf course are also available close to the hotel (at a charge). The hotel offers daytime and night time animation with professional shows and activities offered by the hotels animation team, six times a week. The hotel offers a wide and varied programme of entertainment for children, teenagers and adults. Six times a week there is a varied programme of sports and other well-known games. Darts, boccia and shuffleboard are also appreciated by the less-active and even the sun-worshippers let themselves be beguiled by our first class paella and sangria and by the fashion show. We have also thought about the children with our children?s programme on the playground and in the Mini club (only during school holidays). In the evening: watch one of the hotel?s shows on the terrace ? e.g. Grease, or others. If you want to show your acting talent you may also join in one of the musicals.

All Inclusive General Info
Guests get an identification bracelet on their arrival for personal use only. In each order demonstration of the bracelet along with a consumption ticket signature should be required. Food & beverage consumption is permitted only within the service points (restaurants & bars). Alcohol is not allowed to guests under 18yrs old. For safety reasons, glass (cups, glasses, plates, etc.) is not to be used around the pool area. During an excursion, guests can request a picnic or cold dinner service by presenting the voucher at the reception (prior 24hr reservation).
