The Verdaguer Cultural Centre
History lovers will adore this centre as it has many relics dating back to 250 BC, which were found during a local excavation. There are some fine collections of artwork and models showing the history of the naval models. The centre is in the centre of Lloret de Mar so it is easy to find.

The Dona Marinera Statue
An enchanting bronze statue of the wife of a local fisherman which was made in 1966. The statue is said to be the centrepiece of Lloret. Tourists are drawn to look at the amazing statue, and it has featured in many holiday snaps.
