Playa de Palma is centrally located and within easy access to the airport, the busy and bustling City Centre of Palma and the quieter resorts of C'an Pastilla and Arenal. Because of its location, it is inevitable that you might experience some aircraft noise from time to time.
The most famous thing about the place is the beach which is ideal for families. The beach is very long and sandy, and never seems to be too crowded. If you decide you would rather be less strenuous, it is possible to take the mini train between the two resorts, which is reasonably priced and takes about 15 minutes. A perfect way to see the coast and catch many holiday snap shots.
