Messonghi has seen great improvements in the last few years making it one of Corfu's popular resorts.

It has the Messonghi River running through it which separates it from the neighbouring resort of Moraitka. It is situated close enough to Corfu Town to enable easy access both by hire car or public transport.

This tends to attract a livelier crowd looking for plenty of fun things to do. There is also a greater selection of shops here where you can while away many hours simply browsing for a bargain.

A holiday at Messonghi will no doubt include a trip to Corfu Town. The Venetian architecture is evident today as you wander around the streets. The sights, the smells and the atmosphere are all typically Greek.

Another excursion you could take would be to visit the Aqualand water park. This is a popular place to visit, especially for children and those looking for a bit of fun and excitement.
