Kommeno Bay is a beautiful and idyllic resort, only a few kilometres from Corfu Town but far enough away to be pleasantly serene and calm
It is surrounded by lush green hills and the fragrance is fresh and clear. The beach is truly idyllic and ideal for families with young children as the shore gently shelves to the warm and clean sea. There really isn't much here to disturb a lazy day, soaking up the sun and chilling out.
The views from the peninsular are astounding, as you gaze out to the azure blue seas you will find yourself in such an idyllic spot, if you love photography then your pictures will be completely picture postcard views.
For more in the way of entertainment and activity, you could walk to the resorts of Gouvia, or Dassia which are only 4 kilometres away. These resorts are very touristy with much more in the way of shops, bars, clubs and restaurants. Here you will find less atmosphere and traditionalism than at Kommeno Bay.
