Kalamaki is a laid back and friendly resort which has much to offer and not just beach, sun and sea.

The village is large and amongst the rows of houses you will find forests and lush green areas, so it is possible to enjoy some nice walking and see the countryside.

It has its fair share of tavernas, bars and restaurants. Some of which offer karaoke music, and others are much more quiet and relaxing where you can enjoy a nice meal, good wine with a friendly Greek atmosphere. There is also a disco, and this is placed well away from the beach area and the resort centre.

People who love churches will enjoy visiting and seeing the church of Aghios Alypios and the church of Aghia Kyriaki which are within the village itself.

We mustn't forget to mention the surrounding views which are quite panoramic. Mount Skopos is in the distance so if you picture yourself standing looking at the azure blue shoreline, you can look across to see the highest mountain of Zante in the distance.
