A holiday to Faliraki is always about fun, excitement and lots of things to do and see. Over the years its popularity has grown, and today there is little left of the traditional agricultural village which was famous for its fish, figs and tomatoes. However, what you see today is still an intriguing village with plenty of charm and atmosphere.
Faliraki is well known for having a very lively nightlife, and indeed you will find plenty of activities going on after dark. You can choose from a variety of English or Irish Pubs, Bars, Cocktails Bars and Clubs. Most of these are open until pretty late at night, with the exception of the Clubs that usually don't stop until about 4 am. There are all types of music played, from R & B, hip hop, rock to popular music.
You will find many shops all around the resort selling anything you might need from flip flops to handbags, hats to sunglasses and more. Souvenir shops will sell all the typical holiday gift items so you can find something to take back. For those who are self catering you will find a couple of supermarkets to provide everyday needs.
Through the summer months there is a fun fair at Faliraki, where you can spend many hours and the children can spend their holiday pocket money perhaps. Or you can visit the nearby Water Park with its rides and water pools.
Nature lovers and walking enthusiasts might enjoy visiting the Valley of the Seven Springs where you should be able to see some of Rhodes plant life and fauna amongst the cool shade of the trees.
