At Dalyan you are never too far away from any of Turkey's historical sites: it lives up to its reputation of being paradise. It sits along the River Dalyan, so it is an inland resort with no beaches of its own. There are a good number of restaurants along the riverfront where you can enjoy a pleasant meal in fantastic surroundings.

Nature lovers will simply be in their element here with the number of fresh water springs and a freshwater lake around which you can take a stroll and absorb the surroundings.

Also well worth a visit is to the mud baths of Dalyan and from Dalyan you can take a boat excursion to explore some of Turkey's coastline.

Dalyan (Dalaman Region) Climate Summary Weather in Turkey On the coastal resorts of the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas the summers, between May to October are very acrid, hot and dry. The winter weather tends to be cooler, wetter but mild.
