Canico has two main areas which are the old traditional village and the modern section with some exclusive hotels and an enchanting beach.
The main square has a delightful array of shops, restaurants and bars and an 18th century village church. Here life is fairly sedate and peaceful.
To the modern area where the beach is you will find an array of bars, restaurants and cafes and some hotels. The beach has excellent facilities including diving, windsurfing and canoeing. Just outside of the resort there is a golf course and you should not miss out on the caves and grottos which line the coastal rocks.
