If you are looking for a place full of life around the clock, 24/7, then Benalmadena is the place for you. You won't be able to escape that holiday buzz here.
It is one of the most popular destinations on the Costa Del Sol, along with Torremolinos, and definitely caters for the British tourist market.
The streets are lined with bars and nightclubs that play modern disco music until the early hours. Young couples and single groups of people head off to these to dance the night away.
You will also find a number of cafes and restaurants that by day and early evening offer a wide range of dishes and affordable prices. There are also a number of nice shops where you can spend some holiday browsing to look for your must haveholiday gift to take home.
Puerto Marina is a trendy and cosmopolitan place to go and here you will find the Town's sea-life centre which the children will be drawn to, no doubt.
Another place to visit is the Tivoli theme park, which is in the adjacent village of Arroyo de la Miel. Again, something for the children if you are looking for a place to take them.
For some additional entertainment you could visit the Torrequebrada Hotel which has a golf course and a casino, and which is open to visitors.
For a contrast and to get away from the mad buzz at Benalmadena Costa you could go to the hillside village of Benalmadena Pueblo. It has a panoramic view of the coast below, whilst portraying a much calmer and traditional Andalucian atmosphere.
