At Aswan you can enjoy the ancient city which sits right on the River Nile. Its origins from Africa are evident and in the city centre you will often find Nubian dancers performing their art. You can take in some of the local sights or you can relax and just enjoy what it has to offer. The bazaars are interesting and offer a variety of spices, incense and silk.

The dam of Aswan is an incredible sight. Its length is 4 kilometres and its height is 111 metres. A temple which was constructed in honour of the goddess Isis is one of the last few temples built in Egypt.
